Iceland
A body of work created during an artist residency at the Icelandic Textile Center Textilmidstod in 2019.
My experiments included making handspun yarns from the Icelandic wool, naturally dyed yarns and various handwoven techniques. The works made of primarily with Icelandic wool or its combination with Shetland wool.
This project was created with the support of a Visual Art and Craft Award: Shetland 2018/2019 in partnership with Creative Scotland, Shetland Islands Council and Shetland Arts Development Agency.
